Kids and fiber arts go together like bread and butter!  From Cat’s Cradle to String Art, Cross Stitch to Spinning, kids love to play with yarn.  Because the materials are generally soft, they are soothing and safe for even little ones to work with.   Bright colors, shimmery silks, and fuzzy felts appeal to the senses. And producing something that is both usable and beautiful makes every kid feel great about themselves.

Here you can find articles for kids about all things fiber art, and instructions for some great kids’ projects with felting, dyeing, knitting, and weaving.  Keep checking back, because new projects will be added frequently!
